1 Cup of oatmeal is also loaded with 13 grams of protein, 5 grams of fat and 8 grams of fiber with only around 300 calories per serving, which makes it excellent for people who are working out on a regular basis. If that isn’t enough for the exercise buffs, it’s a great source of slow-release energy which allows for more consistent energy expenditure.
