EOS Lip Balm Review
EOS lip balm flavors are many and varied; in fact, there are over eleven different kinds, plus 2 more that are limited edition. Coconut milk, strawberry sorbet, vanilla mint, pomegranate raspberry, the list goes on.
I really did not know which one to choose since they all sounded so good. In the end, I went with the only one that has SPF and that was the lemon drop flavor. Now, I’ll be honest. I love lemon (mmm, lemon bars) but it is by no means my favorite flavor in the world. That would be coconut. But my responsible self was telling me that I should not simply go with something that smells good but also something that was going to protect my lips. Because, well, why not?
EOS lip balm ingredients are generally at least 99% natural and some even have organic ingredients. Due to the SPF and the active ingredients used, it’s not as natural as the other flavors but it DOES protect your lips from being exposed to UVA/UVB rays. It is still free of free of PABA, phthalates, petrolatum, gluten and paraben risks. The inactive ingredients look great and boast 100% natural flavor.
The 100% natural flavor definitely shows because one sniff and I’m in lemon bar paradise. And actually, the more I use it the more I am growing on lemon as a lip balm flavor. Refreshing, uplifting and I just want to lick my lips all day long.
As advertised, the balm rolls on smoothly and clearly.
Overall this is a great lip balm and I’m extremely satisfied with the results. My lips stayed soft and moist for a couple of hours after application. And the potent lemon flavor makes it a pleasure to reapply the balm several times during the course of the day. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a delicious smelling, moisturizing and protective lip balm. If you’re not in a sunny climate as I am, you may still want to buy this product just for the pure lemony goodness it has to offer.
